Rules Of Disc Golf

Disc golf, also known as Frisbee golf, is a sport that is enjoyed by people of all ages and skill levels around the world. The objective of the game is to throw a flying disc into a basket or target, with the fewest throws possible. Here is a list of the basic rules of disc golf:

  1. The course is made up of a series of holes, each with a tee pad and a basket or target.
  2. The objective is to complete each hole in the fewest throws possible, similar to traditional golf.
  3. Each player starts at the tee pad and throws the disc towards the basket or target.
  4. The player’s score for a hole is the total number of throws it took to get the disc into the basket or target.
  5. The player with the lowest total score after completing all the holes wins the game.
  6. Players must play in order of the tee order, and must wait until the group in front of them has cleared the hole.
  7. Players must use only one disc for the entire round and are not allowed to switch discs during the round.
  8. The disc must be released before crossing the tee pad, and must come to rest within the basket or target.
  9. A player must give way to players throwing from the next tee if the hole is clear.
  10. Players must follow the designated course, and are not allowed to throw from an illegal or unplayable location.
  11. If a player throws a disc out of bounds or it cannot be found, the player will be penalized one throw.
  12. If a disc lands on top of the basket or target, it is considered a holed out and the player is credited with one throw.
