  4. The game begins with a serve, where the server must hit the ball diagonally across the net and into the opponent’s service area.
  5. Players are not allowed to carry or throw the ball, and must use a downward motion to hit the ball.
  6. The ball can be hit with one or two hands, and players are allowed to use different types of shots like dinks, volleys, and smashes.
  7. The game is usually played to 11 points and a player must win by 2 points, with a two-minute break between games.
  8. The ball must be served from the right-hand side of the court for the first point, and from the left-hand side for the second point, and so on.
  9. The ball must be served underhanded and the server must keep one foot behind the back line during the serve.
  10. A player can only score a point if they are serving, and the ball lands in the opponent’s court or if the opponent faults.
